Gerry Fregien opened the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy Monona on September 17th, 1984 at 4604 Monona Dr.. This is where the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy stayed until 2009 when we moved the pharmacy to our current expanded location at 4205 Monona Drive. The ownership stayed with Gerry until May 16th, 2013 when Eric Hewitt, a lifelong eastside Madison resident and current employee, bought the pharmacy. Over the past nearly 30 years, we, at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy Monona, have strived to bring our patients the highest quality patient care all while providing the personalized customer service of the past.
